How your subscriptions actually get used
Chorus sits beside the chat. It does not pretend to be the chat.
ChatGPT Plus and SuperGrok only spend when you are signed into chatgpt.com or grok.com. No website can do that for you. The helper is an Edge (or Chrome) side panel that types the turn into that tab and reads the reply back. Your password never leaves those sites.
Computer — Edge or Chrome
- 1. Download chorus-extension.zip and unzip it (right-click the file → Extract all).
- 2. In Edge’s address bar open edge://extensions (Chrome is chrome://extensions — same screen).
- 3. Turn on Developer mode (top right). Click Load unpacked. Pick the unzipped chorus-extension folder.
- 4. Open https://grok.com or https://chatgpt.com as you already do. Click the Chorus puzzle-piece in Edge. The table docks on the side. Take a turn. It types into that signed-in chat.
Android
Chrome on a phone cannot run this helper. Use the Grok or ChatGPT app you already have — that is where your subscription and the good voice already live.
- 1. On this site, take a turn, tap Share to Grok / ChatGPT.
- 2. Pick the Grok or ChatGPT app. Speak or send.
- 3. Copy the reply and paste it back here. The ledger still rejects invented crew.
How to test in Edge
- Load the helper (steps above). Leave it on.
- Open https://grok.com signed in as SuperGrok. Start a new chat — not this Build conversation.
- Click the Chorus icon on the Edge toolbar. The table should dock. Press Continue The Revenant, then tap one of the options (for example Walk the water work with Caroline).
- You should see the packet appear in the Grok box and send. When Grok answers, Chorus applies it. Turn the speaker on in the dock to hear Grok’s voice, not the Windows one.
